Gidleigh Goat by ~3-hares is a wonderful traditional piece done in pen and watercolor. The artist did a great job creating lighting and texture here. ( Suggested by NebulosaMentalis and Featured by savagebinn )

I love that the style is beautiful, and it gives an old feel, but doesn't get  in the way of expressing interesting forms and textures that give a sense of the tree being magical and ancient and weird, much like the goat. Genius art.

Wonderful coloring! The many different shades of green are just beautiful and I like how the goat fits with the surrounding forest - he could live there for ages and no one would see him :)

Dartmoor (where this tree lives) has a similar feel to that bit of Ireland - lots of mossy, boulder-strewn rivers overhung with gnarled old trees. And a tangible ancient quality...

There's such a story in this picture. It makes me curious and at the same time all I can do is stare in awe. As with each passing second I continue to find more and more little details that catch my attention.

Brilliant work! :D

You've captured so much world in one scene! I want to live there.

You've pushed all the right buttons in my imagination with the character, the background, the lighting and that awesome tree.

That tree is 10 pounds of aesthetically pleasing, gnarly treeness in a five pound bag. The goatman looks inviting enough, but probably smells a bit.

Strangely enough, there is a massive boulder just up the hill that looks like a turtle head (or a bear depending on which way you look at it)
